hayden_panettiere1I gotta say, after that whole Dooney & Bourke travesty earlier this winter I’m a little timid to use the words “Hayden” and “Fashion” in the same sentence.  BUT, Panettiere is doing a good deed and so it’s my job to let the world know!

Hayden Panettiere took patients from the Los Angeles’ Children’s Hospital who are currently being treated for problems including aneurisms, strokes, paralysis of the nerves and spine and sickle cell anaemia, on a shopping trip San Gabriel department store Kohl’s on Saturday.

Rumor has it that Hayden tried to give some friendly-fashion advice, but the girls had their own ideas about what to buy. The 20-year-old actress laughed: “Not many of them listened to me!”

While my heart is still broken about the Panettiere’s calf-skin ways,  what Hayden has done for dolphins in Japan is totally commendable and this good deed just proves that the young starlet does indeed have a great heart! Hopefully, PETA’s undercover footage will help educate Hayden on how cruel and environmentally destrucive leather can be!
