I don’t think she’s a flexitarian. Based on her recent interviews and list of recipes she enjoys, it doesn’t seem like she makes occasional exceptions with respect to meat eating. It sounds she doesn’t eat red meat but chicken, fish and turkey are a regular part of her diet.

Well, my question is…who cares what Gwyneth Paltrow is? Why do people even keep listening to her? Not to mention she’s not even in movies anymore. So how about moratorium on Paltrow news? You’re just giving her more publicity that she doesn’t need or deserve.

I think it’s hypocritical and in poor taste to accept millions of dollars to endorse a company that sells clothing made from animals while at the same time trying to promote an animal/eco-friendly image. I realize no one’s perfect but the endorsement deals really cross the line. Gwyneth’s done stuff like this before (filmed an anti-SUV ad and was later exposed as an SUV driver herself) but seemed to slide under the radar. I’m glad more people are taking notice of her duplicity.

I’m sorry, but “vegetarian” is defined as a diet free of meat, poultry or fish – people randomly redefining what they want the term to mean does not change its meaning (despite the ability to manipulate it on wikipedia).

Also, crack a science book why don’t ya, there are only 6 scientific kingdoms, where the hell else do you think fish fall under, fungi?! Animals aren’t limited to mammals.

What so many of you “I’ve got all the answers” people forget is that thousands of people have defined being a vegetarian as not eating red meat. They still eat fish and poultry. Yes, I know fish and poultry are animals (are fish really animals?) but the definition still stands for many people. I am well aware that it may not be your definition, but all the way back to the 70s, that is how it was stated. Maybe some people are still stuck there. But does that really make them horrible people? I don’t think so. Don’t overlook the good they may do just because of what they eat.

She is just a hypocritical douche bag and i hope she chokes on a chicken bone so we don’t have to hear about this crap anymore.

I’m just SICK of it and i really wish some organization would just BLAST her already and put her on the spot not just take it half way like some other organization that is obviously NOT staying on top of this.

Paltrow recently said on Oprah that she eats two-legged animals. That doesn’t qualify as vegetarian or a “pretty much vegetarian” as she claimed to PETA.
