Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith Give $1,000,000+ To Charity

Filed under: donations — Michael Parrish DuDell @ 2:37 pm

smith_givingIf you’re making millions, you better be giving millions…that’s my motto. Luckily, Will Smith and Jada feel the same way!

The famous duo have donated over $1.3 million to charitable causes in the last year. And just where is that money going? Well according to Fox News (always a reliable source), the cash has been split between civic, religious and arts groups, including $122,500 to friend Tom Cruise’s Church of Scientology.

The biggest single contribution was to Yesha Ministries of Philadelphia. The born-again Christian based organization received $250,000. Smith donated a further $200,000 to a Christian ministry outside Los Angeles called Living Waters. JESUS!! No, I mean literally…Jesus!

Does it make YOU feel all warm inside when you hear about your favorite star’s gift-giving ways? Chime in share your thoughts!!

  1. I agree with you that when you make millions, you should give millions. It’s good to see some stars really stepping up to give back to things they believe in.

  2. Does it mean he’s not a scientologist? I certainly hope it does… those scientologists bum me out.

  3. It does make me happy to see people giving back

  4. It’s always great to give, but churches? I’m pretty sure they’re doing fine on their own.

  5. This story sickens me. He supports and abusive cult.Scientology is NOT a church, and is NOT a religion. SHAME ON WILL AND JADDA SMITH

  7. great to see anyone give to charity but as the smart poster said above; NOT to churches. to a good charity who has a specific cause like animal abuse or homeless people, homeless pets, eco stuff, but no no no not churches. so sad.

  8. All we need to do is look at what motivated God to give. It is found in John 3:16:
