Don’t get me wrong, I love John Lennon — but there’s something about digitally bringing back celebrities from the dead to promote today’s causes that’s a bit macabre. Nevertheless, twenty-eight years after his death, the former Beatle is doing a TV ad for the Cambridge-based One Laptop Per Child initiative. The charity aims to deliver tough, solar-powered computers to the world’s poorest children at a cost of less than $200 per machine. Check it out below:
