Wanna visit the very first LEED certified movie studio? No need to head out West!
Plymouth, Massachusetts, has just cast a vote to build an eco-friendly $400 million studio – aptly called the Plymouth Rock Studios.

Nicknamed “Hollywood East,” the project has already notified the United States Green Building Council that they are seeking LEED certification to make them the first movie studio of its kind. We’re talkin’ sustainable materials, daylight capture, 100% carbon neutrality and organic gardens!!

So will Plymouth become the new Hollywood? Probably not! But still it’s nice to see the very first potentially LEED certified green movie studio being built. Times are a changin’, folks!
