All- These responses are so interesting. I’ve never witnessed another celebrity induce such powerful feelings (both positive and negative).

Listen, Heather was lovely to speak with. She was courteous, well-spoken and seemingly quite devoted. A person can believe what they’d like, but as someone who’s spent a little time with her, I will go on the record and say I found her to be a joy.

Furthermore, organizations that I adore, such as Farm Sanctuary, the HSUS and FARM have all worked with Heather and trusted her to represent their image. All I’m saying is that even if there were questionable things in her past, she seems to be working hard to help promote an agenda that is a near and dear to many of our hearts.

I say we let bygones be bygones and support our fellow vegan.

I’m with Mary and Marie all the way. The biotch poured a JUG of water on her husband’s attorney’s head in front of the judge! I wish she’d gotten nothing. She’s a sniveling lying piece of crap. She says she went vegan at 25? yet later says she was eating meat when she met Paul (which was later than 25- she’s like 40 years old now) She is so full of it. I wish the press would have grilled her even more.

Mary – your post is brilliant. What a nerve this woman has claiming that she was picked on in the press. Anyone remember her ranting like a loon on TV about ‘dark forces’ out to get her? There is absolutely no record of her giving money to charity until she was donating Paul’s money. In fact she never even filed tax returns until she met him. I will only believe she is redeemed when she gives her ex husband (in fact both her ex husbands and many other people she has hurt) a very public apology for her bad behavior. Until then I will only assume that she is on to the next thing she can to do get attention. That is her favorite charity, getting attention for herself. She is now trying to out animal rights the McCartney family. She is a fraud.
She is only vegetarian because of Paul – she was only at Live Aid because of Paul. What a selective memory she has.
Is she really supporting anything except herself? Is she really bailing out companies? The judge said she was a liar and fraud. She claimed to donate all her earnings from DWTS to charity – a lie. She tried to make Paul pay for the same house – twice. Now she is claiming that people are putting pieces of cut tomatoes in their pockets like they have never had them before. Could she be anymore insulting to these people?
Why would anyone believe anything she said? The coat looks like it was made from scraps – and that is not a good thing.
