In a first for the British royal family, Prince Charles is set to join celebrities Harrison Ford and Cate Blanchett in a new ad campaign to stop deforestation. The initiative is set to benefit the Prince’s Rainforest Project and encourage people to “sign up” and help defend these natural areas.
According to sources, the film is still in the early stages of production but will feature several dignitaries and celebrities in addition to the above. The goal is to rally together international companies, NGOs and the public to try to put a halt to tropical deforestation.
Back in May, Harrison Ford starred in a short film for Conservation International to highlight deforestation — by having his chest hair waxed. Something tells us Prince Charles will not be game to give that a go!
More on this as we find it!
