i agree. there is no other way to control population. just spay/neuter your animals instead of killing others. it’s stupid. because if you think about it…the people who don’t fix their animals are just allowing more animals to be created so that eventually more will have to be destroyed.
Wow, a subject very close to my heart. I volunteer at a spay/neuter clinic. Every week at least some animals come in pregnant, and leave… not pregnant. And thank goodness. Those puppies would probably not get homes, or someone would try to take them to a shelter that would turn them away because they are too full.. then worst case scenario is that they are left to the streets… not fixed… and the entire scene multiplies by millions..
It is so very important to implement spay/neuter into the brains of humans. Otherwise people do not think about it and the problem gets multiplied like crazy.
Then you see stray, starving animals, hit by cars, injured, or taken and used as bait for dogfighting.
Rarely does a stray animal have a very happy ending.
