Here at the Razz we love us some Emily Deschanel. Earlier this year we had the chance to chat with Em about veganism, green living and basically just being a rockstar at Farm Sanctuary’s annual gala. Now Deschanel is sharing her green ideas with our friends over at Sprig.com in an exclusive video segment.

In the video, Emily states: “I think the number one way I’m green is I’m vegan. A lot of people don’t realize the impact of the meat and dairy industry on the environment. So I have no animal products. I don’t wear leather which is tanned and they use horrible chemicals. My house: I’ve put in double-pained windows, hope to do solar panels and get a compost pile — our house is kind of crazy right now.”
