It’s official: Pamela Anderson is awesome. Don’t argue with me — it is what it is!
A few days ago Ecorazzi told you that Anderson decided to jump in and get involved after Mumbai’s high court recommended that stray dogs be killed, saying they are a nuisance to the public. In a letter, Anderson wrote: ”Dogs cannot use condoms, but with the municipality’s help, they can be ‘fixed’ — painlessly, quickly and permanently.”
Well it looks like all the attention Anderson brought to the case sure paid off. On Saturday, the Indian Supreme Court made an official ruling preventing the killing of stray dogs.
Asked whether Anderson’s involvement may have helped their case, Anuradha Sawhney, a spokeswoman for PETA in Mumbai, said: “Maybe. It makes people realize that a lot of people do care about these animals.I think the main thing here is that we need to make people realize how important these dogs are and there’s really nothing demeaning in having a stray dog. They’re just another dog.”
A big thumbs up to everyone who worked hard on this triumphant case. Keep up the great work, ya’ll!

Yay for Pammie!
I hope Pamela doesn’t end up locking herself in a mansion by the sea like Brigitte Bardot, isolating herself from the rest of humanity, only living with her animals…
