Human civilization led to domestication of these animals which led to their overpopulation (not to mention how humans overpopulation is a much bigger problem), but you don't see PETA advocating putting humans to sleep, which should be the logical conclusion. Their argument is simply nonsensical. I, myself, am vegan, and I'm not thrilled with animal consumers, but I'd rather support Neko Case than PETA any ol' day. PETA does some good things, but the fact that they euthanize healthy — yes, HEALTHY — animals is inexcusable and total bs. Human civilization led to domestication of these animals which led to their overpopulation (not to mention how humans overpopulation is a much bigger problem), but you don’t see PETA advocating putting humans to sleep, which should be the logical conclusion. Abused fighting dogs could make less then perfect pets with risks that you cant calcualte. With shelters so full, i can understand such a practical solution to euthanise some dogs. Best Animal Society looks great and are def doing a great job as far as i can see, but are they all vegans ? I mean, its easy to trash Peta, but at least they are all vegans and try to do the best for animals in any way of their daily life. great what she does, but no need to trash Peta.
