All well and good, but http://www.thefirstpost.co.uk/people,1915,barack-obama-turns-up-the-heat,72747?WTmc_id=rss_breitbart

Apparently he's lacking on the fuel-efficiency by cranking up the heat in his office and breaking the dress-code rule set by the Bush Admin - wear your suit jacket! Apparently, according to Axelrod (senior adviser, campaign-speech writer), "you could grow Orchids in there."

WTF?

That bit about a bowl of soup being so good - it's true. Local food is fresher, organic food actually tastes like food and not chemicals, and it's better for the environment - biodiversity, etc.

We signed up for a CSA that delivers a box of goodies to our doorstep every Friday. It's more than enough veg for the two of us for a week and it's roughly $30/delivery. It's awesome.

big deal ! the Bushes also insisted on local and organic food.
http://thinkprogress.org/2009/01/15/laura-bush-organic/
i am getting a bit amazed, just because he MIGHT adopt a dog from the shelter and drinks organic juices, and the misses dont wear fur for one day, (but how about next week, eh ?)doesnt make them Green Superheroes. And Obama being somehwhere near being a veggie ? in your dreams. in answering a question from a vegan young lady, he couldnt help himself but starting to say that he likes steaks and meat. Can we please keep our veggie feets on mother earth ?
