SNL Takes Environmentalism To The Next Level With Eco-Friendly Diapers

February 2nd 2009

So there’s environmentalism and then there’s ENVIRONMENTALISM. This week’s SNL decided to cross that line and keep on running.

In a new faux-commercial for Pampers, Kristin Wiig plays a new mom who’s trying to tackle the environmentally-difficult question of baby diapers. In the ad Wiig says:

“You care about your family and you care about the earth, but sometimes it can seem like we have to make a choice between the two.  Cloth diapers are easy on the planet, but they’re messy and hard to clean. Disposable diapers are a snap, but I want to leave a better world for this little one. Now there’s another way. Introducing chewable Pampers. ”

Well…you can guess where they go from there.  Note to viewers with weak stomachs and creative imaginations: this commercial just might make you hurl. But it’s hysterical and way worth it! Enjoy!!!
