The current article you are reading does not reflect the views of the current editors and contributors of the new Ecorazzi

careyhartpetafur72If we’ve said it once we’ve said it 100 times: fur just AIN’T cool! Luckily we’re not the only ones who feels that way.

Oodles and oodles of Hollywood’s hottest have spoken up about the cruelties and torture that goes on in the fur industry simply for the sake of fashion. So many people are disgusted by the idea, in fact, that many designers have vowed never to use the cruel stuff again!

In a new PSA for PETA, Carey Hart reveals that it was his ex-wife Pink who helped raise his awareness for animals and asks others to take the time and educate themselves. In the video, Hart says:

“It’s just ridiculous, you know? It’s like you’re gonna destroy animals so that you can look cool in the nightclubs or you can look cool walking down the street in New York. You know I don’t get behind that. I think it’s very petty and very shallow. And then once I saw the investigation and the actual process it just disgusted me.”

Check out the whole video at blog.peta.org and then visit HSUS.org to find a comprehensive list of stores and designers who have agreed to never sell fur again. The most effective way to vote is with your dollar and let’s never again for vote for a store or a designer who give their support to this brutal practice!

Veld donates money to farm animals and also serves them

Lest we be confused that their giant V logo stands for anything other than Veld.

Trading beef for beans is not a solution, veganism is

Please do substitute beef for beans, but also have tofu instead of turkey, carrots instead of chicken, and I think you see where I’m going.

Guys, extortion isn’t an effective form of vegan advocacy

Assuming we can extort people into respecting the lives of others makes no sense.
