Palin is a typical Republican. Many of my relatives love her and they do the same- having so many children and selfishly expecting we taxpayers to pay for their school (I do – I pay their school taxes and I don’t have any kids at all and since I live in a more expensive house (sadly, bought it when the market was high) Mine are higher than my aunt and uncle who have five bratty children (who love to buy guns at Wal Mart- yes really – and go to church ya’ll and hunt.. it’s sick but yes I have a big family – they’re not all like that.

Point is a group of my friends and I who went to school together had a talk about whether it’s selfish just to keep having child after child. Many have said the woman who just purposely had the 8 kids is selfish.. I am not going to judge her though most everyone in the media thinks it’s sick…

Sarah’s own people around her have been quoted as saying she doesn’t spend enough time with her kids especially her mentally handicapped child (which, by the way downs is caused USUALLY by the mother being older) My friend was saying how her sister selfishly had five kids, has to work can’t properly raise them and spends no time with them. Sarah wanted to be vice PRESIDENT with a handicapped baby. Do I think that’s selfish and unfair to that baby?! HELL ya.

So I don’t think Palin is conservative. Flying private jets isn’t conservative, wearing fur isn’t conservative, popping out five children isn’t conservative, wearing super expensive designer clothes isn’t conservative. wanting to use up our natural resources and drill drill drill is NOT conservative. eating MEAT is not conservative!

A Republican? She and Bush might be Republicans but they are the farthest thing from conservatives I know. They make a bad name for conservatives (TRUE conservatives) they make a bad name for liberals too . Come to think of it they make a bad name for Americans.

And you say she has a right to do her job since the people voted her in. Did bush have that right too? He should have been impeached? And she? well she thankfully wasn’t voted in as vice president.

Obviously MORE than half the country had the sense not to vote her in. Thank God.

Palin is not exactly a shining beacon of intellect, but the Defenders of Wildlife are using the very same deflection tactics. They’re using the (well deserved) public distaste for Palin and the apparently shocking act of shooting wolves from a plane to deflect from the real issue: Control of wildlife populations.

When human and wolf populations get too close to each other, one is going have to give way. This might not be immediately obvious to those not living at the Alaskan latitudes, so I urge everyone to look up accounts on what happens when wild wolf populations meet with human populations. If the choice is (which I would argue for) to control the wolf population, then whether the wolves are killed by shooting from the ground or the air is largely irrelevant.

You are exactly right. Everyone in the know realizes the only reason they are killing the wolves is YES because they’re killing the caribou (heck even Palin has stated that!) And guess what? The folks wanna hunt them some caribou and don’t want it to get killed by the wolf.

ANyone who would be ridiculous to suggest that they are being killed because there are too many wolves vs people (in Alaska?! PULLEEEEEZ!) is just invisible to me

Plus I lived in California surrounded by wolves and Coyotes (just as big as the wolves by the way) and none of us had no problem at all. We just had to watch our critters (cats and dogs though my cat was smarter than all of them and 17 years later she’s fine and was never caught (though I can’t say the same for the neighbor’s lil’ beagle

But you just take precautions and everyone is fine. It is ASSanine to suggest they kill them because the wolves are too close to the human population. And if that’s they’re excuse they’re even more lame than I thought.

I am sorry but shooting wildlife from the air is chicken doodoo. I am tired of the lazy Caucasian sport of killing animals they do not eat. This waste is shaming our founding fathers and the Native American Indians and the African Slaves they abused in a number of way and killed to get rich.
