Besides the fact that I am freezing my tush off, I am so ready for winter to be over so that I don’t have to keep looking at all this damn fur! Does anyone else feel like it’s worse this year than ever before?

Anyway, Queer Eye For The Straight Guy star Carson Kresssley was spotted by TMZ in what appears appears to be some very real fur. While the “interviewer” doesn’t ask about it in the video, I think it’s safe to say that Kressly is most definitly wearing the real stuff! Has he not been to FurIsDead.com?

I have to agree. As a caterer in the city, I’m constantly around obnoxiously rich people and the amount of fur I’ve see this season is unforgivable.

Don’t you all remember from the last time this came up? Who was the one who said rich men love fur especially rich gay men.

Nothing wrong with that. Except that fur is disgusting and dirty.

Yes, I feel like I’ve seen more fur this year. I’ve noticed more ads for it in fashion magazines and it really rubs me the wrong way. Not sure what’s up with that. Seems kind of ironic I guess with the fact hollywood in general is so on the going green bandwagon and fur doesn’t realy mesh with that..

I have to agree with John and Brandi. when I was in NY it was out of control in December. I couldn’t believe it. I know it’s colder than usual but like Brandi says the planet is moving toward being green (or at least trying) and we’re in a huge economical crisis. Yet people are spending a TON of money (not many people mention the ridiculous cost of fur) on these horrendous monstrosities…. so much violence went into making them. I don’t get it.

I don’t think all rich gay men wear fur. In fact I have some gay friends that are quite the animal activist..

I went to NYC in January 09 with my son and was stunned by the amount of fur on the streets. Everywhere I looked, full length coats made out of every conceivable animal. It was so upsetting. I really believed that we had made strides away from this as there is so much information out there – you can’t claim ignorance anymore.
