Prince Charles Creates 322 Tons of CO2 On Environmental Tour

Put down your afternoon tea…we have PRINCE CHARLES DRAMA!!

In the past, Ecorazzi has been pretty damn vigilant in showcasing all of the royal dude’s environmental initiatives. However, Charleseecakes is in hot water with some environmentalists over his latest project to help save our precious planet.

Charles will be embarking on a non-stop tour through South America next month as part of his crusade to battle global warming. To meet the demands of the 40 appearances he will make in just 10 days — Charles has decided to make the 16,400 mile trip in a luxurious private jet. 

While the entire tour’s emissions will be “offset,” the total price tag for the jaunt will be around $431,900 and release 322 tons of CO2 into the atmosphere. Oh, jeez!

    prince Charles is a fox hunter with hounds, a bloodsport in which any unlucky fox is ripped to pieces by a mob of dogs. This kind of people also dig up young foxes to smash them to death.
    inviting such a person for environmental lectures is a joke, they don’t care and it shows, like taking a private jet to give environmental lectures, its hilarious.

    how about ” a free ride”, thats something the filthy rich always like. he must have thought, what Al Gore can do, i can also do ! riding the Green Wave without actually changing your own lifestyle and cashing in one way or another. i would call it Inteligence Not Hindered By Morality.

    since he has no JOB to report to…he has time on his hands…..he should be riding a bicycle from town to town…for his appearances.

    on the contrary, he should get of his high horse, and JayP has it right. Imagine the impact prince Charles riding a bike town to town. Instead of being eco friendly with his mouth, he actually would walk the talk and set a good example.
    If you think that would be an absurd idea, why not ? many people make long bycicle tours for months, its not impossible.
    If Gandhi doesnt think he is too good to travel 3th class, why should Prince Charles not be able to make a bycicle tour inthe name of Global Warming ??

    btw, he reminds me of the (May He Rest In Peace) dutch prince (husband of the queen) Bernard; same type of guy, embassador of the WWF while the guy is a passionate hunter. this prince was caught with both his hands in the cookie jar taking bribes from Lockheed Company, and did end up getting a little slap on his hands.
    These guys being green and everything, its just show, pure greenwashing and PR for their life without a real job but loads of money.
    unless they trade their high horse for an iron horse i dont buy their environmental commitment

    Not a fan of royalty in the first place – never liked that they hunt for one, after all for them its called ‘sport’, people who do this have no feelings whats so ever except for what they want to do or simply want. They cannot even get away with saying its a way of culling – nature culls its own, not necessary for man to interfere. In fact the more man does interfere the more nature fights back – as in the crisis we find ourselves in now. Prince Charles pretends to care but as we have already had experience of and which the public have already forgotten or forgiven, have proof positive that he is only about himself and his needs and wants. He tries to be seen as the people’s prince but fails miserably on all counts.
