I love Neil Young and the Obama’s and I understand the article did say a secondary dwelling, it does hurt rescue organizations who have to rescue neglected 24/7 backyard dogs who are chained. Shelters and rescues try to teach people that dogs are pack animals and need to be with you, their human pack. When people tell us dogs shouldn’t be in the house, we often use the White House for an example. I hope people don’t say that even the White House dog has a dog house now! Thanks for listening, not trying to be uptight about it, but I just know how people are.

ya know, anything you do to a doghouse you can also do to your house: a green roof on your house can save over 50% of cooling and heating costs. non-toxic building materials can keep you healthy and save hundreds of billions in healthcare costs. planting native species reclaims our natural american heritage by providing habitat for animals (sod lawns, rose gardens and ivy are BRITISH imports!). go to the site, the wood was planted by andrew jackson on his estate, a national treasure, and downed during a tornado.
