Demi Moore’s New Rubenstein Ad Heavy On The Fur

Further justifying PETA’s selection as the number-one worst dressed celebrity in Hollywood, Demi Moore has landed on magazine pages promoting Helena Rubinstein mascara — while draped in leopard fur.

The 46-year-old is ridiculously airbrushed in the ad — to the point where its unclear why they just didn’t go with someone younger. Perhaps they couldn’t find anyone else willing to drape a dead animal on their shoulders – or maybe those leeches really are working. Either way, I guess that “compassion attraction” Ashton Kutcher talked about doesn’t extend to animals.

    She even encourages her kids to wear it (I had a pic of Rumor wearing it too but thought I’d spare you all having to look at her face)

    Demi should tell her daughters how mother animals are skinned alive leaving their babies behind (it’s called traps) for those pelts.

    Disgusting.

    Does this ad even sell the product? I agree with the article – why hire an actress of a certain age if you are just going to airbrush it to make her look 1/2 her age. Maybe they should have just gone with that crazy cat woman who had all the cosmetic surgery to look like a cat to sell their Feline Blacks.

    Really? Is that why the fur council has the following statement on their website? “Famous fur lovers include Sharon Stone, Madonna, Demi Moore, Elizabeth Hurley, Jennifer Lopez, Beyonce Knowles…” Where is this blog you speak of?

    I don’t consider promoting animal abuse loving or caring. She probably had part of her heart removed because she heard it takes 20 years off…
