Madonna Named PETA’s Worst Dressed Celebrity For 2009

Even though Demi Moore put up a good fight for the dubious honor, it’s Madonna that’s been named PETA’s Wrost Dressed Celebrity for 2009. When you see Madonna in fur, you realize why nobody has copied her style since 1984,” says the write-up on the site. Joking about about her new younger beau Jesus Luz, the group goes on to say, “We know that she’s on the prowl for a young cub, but someone needs to tell Madge that wearing fur doesn’t make you a cougar.”
Others included in the list are perennial losers Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen, Kanye West, Elizabreth Hurley, and — unfortunately — Maggie Gyllenhaal. “Maggot has gone from being lost in her brother’s shadow to being lost inside some really ugly fur coats,” the site snarks. “Where is her fashion sense? Maybe Christian Bale dropped her on her head during an action sequence in The Dark Knight.”
We hope everyone on this list takes stock of their fashion cruelty — but we’re not holding our breaths on the Olsen twins.

The only person i have any shred of :hope: for re-evaluating fur is Maggie. She obviously HAS compassion, it just needs to grow.
Not saying it will….but just if anyone has a chance for opening their eyes among those heartless hags, it’s her.
