Good luck to the Plastiki crew. At least, someone’s really trying to do something of substance for the environment. True,we can’t totally get rid of plastic but we can reuse & recycle. I’m also interested in the new concepts that the expedition has been involved in eg. the PET fabric, solar paneling, & other energy sources. This is better than the Kon-tiki that simply proved a academic point.

Why dry ice powder? Why isn’t air in the bottles sufficient? I guess I need to Google this a little… I wonder if David himself will partake in the whole journey, and if this isn’t just a publicity stunt, where he’ll be air lifted in and out for the photo ops!
