Honestly, what took them so long?

In a galaxy of green websites, Treehugger.com is the Jupiter to Ecorazzi’s space junk, the moral fiber to our rice paper credibility, the Lion-O to our Snarf, the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man to our regular marshmallow. You get the picture.

So it’s with great anticipation that we look forward to their newly announced first-annual “Best Of Green Awards”. According to a new press release, the site will name which people, organizations, and concepts are at the top of their game in hundreds of categories across the world of green. Reader’s Choice awards will allow us regular marshmallow folks to name our own cool, green winners.

Personally, I love the move — since it will expose many more green companies, people, and organizations in desperate need of some audience and spotlight these days. Anything that honors progress and initiatives in the green world is worth promoting

Look for TH’s “Best of Green Awards” to roll this April.
