Back in February — on Green Service Day — Global Green hooked up with Jake Gyllenhaal to help launch their “National Green Schools” initiative. The actor and Global Green CEO Matt Petersen toured Manual Arts High School in Los Angeles and inspected a garden, composting efforts, and other initiatives taking place. The non-profit hopes to raise money to help schools around the country become more sustainable and add programs that teach green skills for future jobs. Check out a newly released video of Jake speaking about the initiative below:
