Cloris Leachman, the eccentric actress and former contestant from Dancing with the Stars, has become a PETA poster girl. No, she’s not naked (though we imagine she definitely would have gone for it), but is instead covered in a beautiful gown of red cabbage and lead lettuce. The ad, which was formally introduced today by Leachman in Times Square, features the slogan, “Let Vegetariansim Grow On You”.
“Start learning about it. It doesn’t have to be all of a sudden or a great huge education, but it’s sort of a little journey that you make all your life,” said Leachman, a vegetarian for over 40 years. You can see more of her photo shoot with PETA in the behind the scenes video by jumping here.
