W Magazine Profiles The Best Vegan Accessories From Top Designers

For the first time ever, W Magazine has posted an online feature — with an animal-friendly bent — targeting the best vegan accessories from top designers like Vivienne Westwood and Marc Jacobs. Shockingly, there are actually some designer items listed that retail for less than $100. For the sweetoothed followers of ethical fashion, W has also kindly thrown in Babycakes, Erin McKenna’s new cookbook featuring “vegan, gluten-free and (mostly) sugar-free recipes from New York’s most talked-about bakery.” It’s a beautiful great way to soften the blow for the price of the last item on their list: A Stella McCartney frock retailing for over $1K.
Where’s the organic, vegan vodka when you need it?
um, the last item, the stella mccartney top, it’s described as ‘cashmere’ wouldn’t that make it not vegan?
is stella’s top really cashmere?

wow, cool! a little mix-up with the cashmere, but very nice to see this feature.
lol.. I just had to chip in my two cents as well about the “vegan” cashmere. Haha.
I think it’s excellent that mainstream fashion is acknowledging vegan fashion!
Um… last time I checked, cashmere wasn’t vegan. (unless it’s fake?) But other than that, it’s great to see vegan stuff being shown
