The ASPCA will be celebrating ‘Go Orange for Animals’ this evening in Union Square. The party fill feature adoptable animals, live music, refreshments, and a variety of pet-friendly festivities that will appeal to pet-lovers of all ages.

‘Go Orange for Animals’ is an event kicking-off Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Month on April 7 when iconic buildings and landmarks across the country show their support  by lighting up orange. 

And of course what kind of event would it be without some famous faces?

Broadway, movie and television actress Bernadette Peters will take the stage at around 7:30 to welcome the crowd and flip the switch, lighting up NYC buildings to the sound of the The X Brothers band. 

So join Bernadette, The X Brothers and tons of animal lovers tonight from 4-8 p.m. at the south side of Union Square Park for some animal friendly fun!
