Over the past couple years Ecorazzi has spotlighted all of the chicken drama going on at KFC and the celebrity faces who are helping to end the cruelty.

From Pamela Anderson to Corey Feldman, stars have lined up around the block to speak out against the shady company.

Well now Smashing Pumpkins lead singer Billy Corgan and former drummer Jimmy Chamberlin are getting involved by signing PETA’s petition against the cruel company.

According to PETA’s site:

“Our undercover investigators have documented that KFC suppliers cut off birds’ beaks, cram birds into huge waste-filled sheds, and breed them to grow so large so quickly that their legs become crippled under their weight. At slaughter, their throats are cut, and they’re dropped into tanks of scalding-hot water—often while they’re still conscious. This contradicts KFC’s claim that it “only deal[s] with suppliers who promise to maintain our high standards and commitment to animal welfare.”

If you’re sick and tired of KFC getting away with murder, visit PETA’s site and sign their petition!

The outcry should go further than importation and should be directed at the fact that the animals in question were on their way to slaughter in the first place.
