    I was 13 when I went veg…I just truly loved animals and watched a lot of nature shows with my parents…I think at that point in my life I liked animals MORE than people. LOL!…A few years later I went vegan after reading a book by comedian/political activist Dick Gregory called “Cooking with Mother Nature.” I’m 37 now. :)

    I was a senior in high school when I went veg. It was immediately after reading the pig chasing/killing scene in Lord of the Flies. My meal for senior prom was vegetarian.
