Additionally what real are the real solutions? If the Congolese loose their mining trade will the violence only accelerate? I have so may unanswered questions and am not really persuaded by someone who states you did not hear anything about the environment 10 years ago. What about Al Gore, Rachel Carson, and the many others who have been talking about being green for decades. The celebrity green movement could be just another form of capitalism at its best. "Buy this green product and save the planet" I find it hard to take someone like Ms Ritchie seriously she may have all the money in the world but is she a well rounded and educated person?????
