The spotlight was on Mother Earth this week in Hollywood. Celebrities, activists and people like you and me, came out to celebrate Earth Day. From beach cleanups to conversations over organic cocktails, Mother Earth was on the VIP lists of all of big parties. She was spotted at Kitson on Tuesday night at the launch of LIV GRN, an eco-chic, organic apparel company founded by fashion veteran Sydney Holland and music mogul Larry Frazin, who found a voice in our emerging green culture through organic clothing. LIV GRN is geared toward the modern-day, eco-savvy consumer – merging style and comfort with earth sustaining materials. Affordable apparel designed for everyone, its goal is to inspire, motivate, teach and inform.

• All garments use the finest 100% organic cotton yarns

• All woven labels are 100% organic cotton

• All hang-tags are made of 100% recycled paper

• All garments are manufactured in the USA, leaving behind a very small carbon footprint. Seriously!! In Los Angeles.

“Kitson is the edge of what’s in and what’s hip,” shared actress and environmental activist Kelly Hu. “And if Kitson is starting a green line, hopefully the rest of America will follow.”

Also in Mother Earth’s posse for the evening was Maria Menounos, the host of Hollywood Green on Planet Green. She sported a one-of-a-kind LIV GRN shirt. “Living Green is a message we all need to embrace. Just LIV GRN, it’s so simple.” One of her favorite parts of the brand is the cute ladybug logo, signifying how delicate our environment is. She also exclaimed that, “Of course, I have all of this at home!”

“The most exciting thing about designing for this line, is doing something for the earth and making a difference,” said Meghan Miller, one of the designers from LIV GRN. “The clothing doesn’t look like your typical organic line. I want people to walk away knowing that if you want to do something for the earth, you can have your own style and be cute while making difference.”

And every time you buy LIV GRN, 10% of every sale is donated to Global Green USA, one of the world’s largest and most recognized green charities. Global Green has reached hundreds of millions of people around the world through its innovative celebrity campaigns – spearheaded by the likes of Leonardo DiCaprio, Cameron Diaz, and Brad Pitt – and LIV GRN is set to follow in those footsteps.

Just wearing LIV GRN strengthens the environmental cause by spreading the message, so go to a Kitson near you and start to LIV GRN.
