The 2009 Webby Award winners have been announced — and there are some familiar green organizations and personalities on the list.
Isabella Rossellini’s Green Porno series won for both Best Individual Performance and Best Experimental under the Online Film and Video category. One of our favorite viral videos of the year, Prop 8 The Musical, also took home an award for Best Comedy Short.
Under the Websites category, Conservation International won the Activism Award with their Protect An Acre campaign (voiced by Harrison Ford), The Nature Conservancy won both The People’s Choice and the Webby for Charitable Organizations, and the BBC’s Climate Change: Bloom site rocked out with the Lifestyle award. We’re also psyched that our friends over at DoSomething.org raked in a People’s Choice Award under the Youth category.
Congratulations to all!
