Mia Farrow Vlogs Day 8 Of Hunger Strike For Darfur

As we mentioned earlier, Mia Farrow has embarked on a hunger strike as a way to help raise awareness for the situation in Darfur. Through Youtube, she’s been posting updates on her fast and reaching out to supporters to encourage President Obama to act in the region. Obviously, we all know the President has a full plate at the moment, but Farrow is confident that he may yet find time to get humanitarian agencies back in the country. She looks great for not eating for 8 days and being 60 something (perfect cheekbones) but she also is delivering a great message.

Hunger strikes don’t work anymore. People are too selfish to worry about if someone is eating or not. They are more concerned with who is going to pass the potatoes.
