For this year’s Doodle 4 Google contest, the online search giant is using the theme “What I wish for the world”. The annual contest invites K-12 students to play around with the Google logo and come up with new designs. National finalists in each group are then judged by the public. The grand prize winner gets a $15K scholarship — as well as $25 for his/her school towards a new or existing computer lab. Not bad for some clever sketching.
Anyways, this year’s theme is definitely making kids think green — as well as animal activism, world peace, and gay rights. Below are some of our favorites.
- Deldar Golchehren, Age 13
- Courtney Bodine, Age 13
- Austin Gage Druid, Age 12
- Ben Boehm, Age 12
- Bobbi S Laderer, Age 10
- Jackie Tian, Age 6
- Meaghan Parker, Age 17
