I’m moving back to Florida in July, and these bags will help me to be fashionable as well as to remember to use them whenever I am out!

  • http://www.ecolabelfundraising.com Jeanne of EcoLabel Fundraising

I love how they all fold up and fit into one pak. I struggle with stuffing my bags in one another – it is really clumsy normally. Neat concept – great giveaway!

  • Brandi

Oh these are perfect! I was just thinking to myself the other day how I could get around not using the plastic produce bags at the grocery store without having the produce roll around in the very unsanitary carts! And the Chill bag is such a great idea! I usually bike to the grocery store, and I’m always afraid my cold items will warm up on my way back home (especially on those hot days!).

  • SG

Must have. I have two bags that I use but they are a bit bulky and these would make my shopping exp that much better!

  • Kelly Wimmer

I have been in love with the blueavocado bags since I first saw them! I have been saving up from work to buy a set, but haven’t gotten a chance yet, with mothers day having just passed and birthdays coming up. These bags are the most practical reusable bags I’ve seen! It would be great to have a kit to use with my shopping – I often stop at the grocery store up to 3 times a week on random errands, and hate using a bag each time for a few items.

  • Cathy

Funny! I just posted on twitter that my new favorite thing is to collect funky reusable shopping bags. LOVE these bags!!! Would love to add them to my bag collection!

  • michelle rosborough

These bags are big enough to carry my groceries and mall purchases

  • steph

I use reusable bags ALL the time and everywhere i go. I need more to keep in car, purse, home, work EVERYWHERE so i never have to use nasty throw aways bags :D

thank you btw for bringing back the old fashioned comment drawings!

  • Haley

These bags are a must for me, because they’re a must for everyone!

  • @christellle

Desperately in need of a new bag to tote around. My cloth bags & reusable bags were stolen from the back seat of my car last week:((

  • http://www.twoofakindworkingonafullhouse.blogspot.com Dee

I’d love them because I dont have any and would love to start using these!

  • Meg J

I’m really trying to “green my life” one step at a time and I think that these bags will definitely help! Stepping away from plastic bags is RIDICULOUSLY difficult for me, but having stylish, cute bags will help

So PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE gimme! :)

  • http://cutepea.wordpress.com Laura Smith

I always use reuseable bags-I just gave 3 of my bags away to my sister in law who is starting to use them so another one would be great!

  • http://www.alwaysbcmom.com/ Anna

I need this kit because my kitchen is being taken over by plastic bags! I can’t throw them away because that would be just wrong, and I usually forget to take them to the store to recycle them – only to bring home a whole bunch more. I have got to start using the reusable bags all the time, or I won’t be able to find my kitchen any more!

  • http://www.livingwithoutmeat.com Sally

Reusable bags are always a must-have!!

  • Kerry

these are the best bags I have ever seen! I have to get the veggie bags! They are perfect for going to the farmer’s market this summer!!

  • http://www.ecoyourself.com Allison

These bags are a must for me, because I have a hard enough time carrying around loose reusable bags, and the BlueAvocado bags would be perfect and compact! Did I also mention they are super cute? I will bring them with me everywhere I go! Of course, in addition, I will review them on my blog (EcoYourself.com)!

  • http://www.twitter.com/EricaHennings Erica Hennings

These are a must for me because I refuse to use plastic or paper. I take bags with me to the grocery every time I go. Free bags are the BEST! I have a family of 6 so we could really use these. *we are anticipating one more on the way.

  • http://foodinmylife.blogspot.com Glauce

Ohhh I need those blue bags to join my blue vegan cupcakes!!

PS. It’s so hard to win on Twitter, I always try!

  • madonna cramer

I love these bags, there are so many uses, grocery, library, beach, picnic, diaper, gym, swim, lunch, and so many more maybe even a tubetop ; D

  • EloiseC

I could definitely use these bags for grocery shopping because I don’t like having all that paper and plastic around and beside they are way too cute! Thanks so much for such a wonderful giveaway!

    furygirl3132[at]comcast[dot]net

  • Ann

They are really cute bags! It’s so much more fun to use them when they’re cute!

  • http://tr.im/iQkf Lisa Garza

For those of us who are just as fashion-conscious as eco-conscious, it’s wonderful to have a coordinating set in happy, bright designs.

Kudos for putting this set together with a distinctive signature look!

  • Di

Looks like the perfect thing to carry everywhere I go when I buy stuff…..no more plastic, EVER!

  • cbass8

I need the little bags! I hate using the little plastic bags, but then my veggies are unmanageable. Plus, I love the bigger ones. I have some reusables, but they’re just not as adorable.

  • Elizabeth

they look adorable! and i am sick of plastic bags, but can not yet afford to make the switch and purchase reusable ones :(

  • http://www.copperbrickroad.com Rebecca S

Oh man would I love to win these! There are some stores which offer you like a .05-.10 when you don’t use their bags. It’s not much but it sure does add up. Aside from grocery shopping with them I’ve always got a million and one things to carry whether it be to work or stuff for my son! I want to be green!!

Thanks for such an awesome giveaway!

  • Sarah Lehan

I like that they fold up and don’t take up much space when not in use. Thanks for the contest.

  • Yvette K.

The Blue Avocado Kit is a full-suite solution for the eco-minded fashionista to complete those weekly trips to the grocery – love love love the chill bag and high style and design. I heart Blue Avocado!

  • Kristen

Love ‘em. Super cute. Thanks for the contest

  • Pam Gold

I am always on-the-go with my 13 month old. And we never seem to have enough bags to hold all of our stuff and all of the goodies that we buy along the way! We love to visit farmer’s markets and little shops and although we always remember our reusable bags, I just hate using those little skinny plastic produce bags. I even recently requested that our local supermarket start selling reusable produce bags! So far, no luck but I love setting a positive example for my daughter. I want her to grow up being kind and respectful of the Earth and all of the critters that roam on it. This set would be SO, so ultra handy for us while we’re out on our daily adventures! :-)

  • http://imnotstarving.blogspot.com Sarah

Because my car trunk is a jumble of those horrible $1 bags from various grocery stores, and they’re so well used that some of them are tearing apart.

  • http://babysignswithelizabeth.blogspot.com/ Elizabeth Sprague

We try to do what we can to reduce our carbon footprint. Trying to teach our boys the importance of the little things. We have 7 people in the household so grocery shopping is a common occurence :) We have many random reusable bags from various stores, but I always seem to forget and I’ve really wanted one for produce and other functional ones. Theses bags are so cute and functional, love them! The boys could each have their own bag with it’s own purpose for trips to the store!

  • http://1momof5-recipes.blogspot.com/ Lolli

I LOVE reusable bags, but the 6 that I have don’t hold all of my groceries, so I need more! :) (there are 7 of us!)

  • http://spamantha.typepad.com Samantha

That full kit would meet every need for my 4 person family! We use reusable bags as often as possible- and I admit- I love it when they match. that chill bag? Perfection!

  • http://www.weatherandnoise.net Christine

I love these bags because they appear to be much better built for carrying groceries than the canvas bags I currently have.

  • Bonnie

I have lots of canvas bags (mostly ugly) but would really love some that pack down for carrying in my handbag and to give some of them to my best friend, who REALLY needs some!

  • http://www.ellenissen.com elle

    Because…

I would definately use those bags at the grocery store, the mall, the beach, and the park.

My son has 101 toys I’d like to organize (err.. throw away.. but I’ll settle for organize) and he would love the blue- I could hand them all over his room

And, because green is they way to be :)

  • http://www.lemonademama.com Gwynne

Because I don’t have a car, and we walk to the grocery store. The plastic bags the grocery stores hand out simply do not cut it when heading home from the store!

  • Tamara

I shop for a growing family of 5 and the convenience of these bags would make being green easy and stylish.

  • http://www.VroomYourRoom.com Amy Wesely

I use reusable bags on almost every grocery trip. the cheap ones are not nearly as attractive as the Blue Avocado Bags

  • http://www.thegreensamaritan.com Jeanne

Though I always use my reusable bags and keep in my bag and car, love the chill bag and produce bag, comfort strap features. If I am so lucky to win, I will do a good eco-deed, share the wealth and offer one of these to someone who really needs it (example, person next to me in the checkout line who looks like they’ll be going for the plastic). Thank you!

  • http://www.twitter.com/paperships Cait

I absolutely love this kit! The designs are adorable, and they’re really worth the price! I do a lot of running around for my family, grocery shopping, etc etc, now that I’m home from college and they can send me to do errands. It would be great to have an insulated bag along for the ride so I don’t have to constantly worry that the chilled items I pick up at the grocery store are going to spoil while I make other stops on the way home. Personally, I keep my life in my purse, and the pak and pod bags are adorable, AND both are big enough to hold everything I cart around with me. Plus, can anyone say SUMMER? These would be great to tote around to the swimming pool. They’re modern, style-friendly, AND eco-friendly. They’re the full package, so to speak. ;D

  • http://www.twitter.com/paperships Cait

P.S. These would be great to have with me at college! My friends and I have to walk absolutely EVERYWHERE, and it would be great to take these along when we make a grocery trip instead of worrying that flimsy plastic sacks will break before we get back to our rooms. The comfort handle is great, too, because honestly, I can only take so many stops to shift painful plastic bags when they’re cutting off the circulation in my hands. If I don’t win these, I think I’ll buy myself a set anyway. They’re such a great deal! And I know my family would love to stop finding plastic bags everywhere from shopping trips, because they really multiply, especially because they can only have a few items in each bag or the bag will break before you get to the car! Everyone could benefit from reusable bags. I hope this trend catches on, and fast. :)

MUST HAVE because I seem to be raising three teenage boys (except I’m not, my children are nearly 4, 2 and 8 months) who eat me out of house and home necessitating trips to the grocery store at LEAST twice a week. Usually with one or more of them in tow, and if my shopping bags aren’t folded up teeny tiny and hidden away in my diaper bag, I forget them entirely. Which means that in one year of grocery shopping at this rate I will singlehandedly ruin the Universe with all of those millions of plastic bags that the bagging people insist on putting one salad dressing in before they move on to pack the lettuce in another, and the tomatoes in still another.

  • http://auntiethesis.blogspot.com shel

My bags are an embarrassment; most are cheap $1 bags I’ve picked up here and there. They’re stained, they’re ripped and some of them are just plain ugly. I suppose going to the grocery store isn’t a fashion event but I should look like I garbage-picked my shopping bags.

  • http://buddhasbrewing.wordpress.com Andy Lambert

These bags look fantastic. I can’t imagine paying the price they’re asking on their website. That’s problem with reusable bags for me: I’m poor and the grocery store GIVES me bags for free. I know they’re make of horribly un-earth friendly petrochemicals and never break down. I understand. I try to reuse them two if not three times before they inevitably give way. The fact remains that even the inexpensive ones from the Megamart are still a lot of bucks to carry all my groceries. I use about 10-15 grocery bags EVERY time I go to the store as I buy groceries for two families. I think I have 3 or 4, at most, reusable bags and they aren’t very strong or comfortable to use. I’m always afraid I’m going to trip them when I do use them.
I guess it comes down to this: I WANT to use these bags and I WANT to believe they can fulfill my needs but I can’t afford them, regardless. SO feel free to give them to me, for free. I promise I will make every effort to use them. /rant
