Television journalist Bob Woodruff hit The Daily Show last night to talk about a new ABC special premiering tonight (9PM EST) called Earth 2100. The basic gist of the program is that over the next hundred years the “perfect storm” of population growth, resource depletion and climate change could converge with catastrophic results. The two-hour program gives us the worst case scenario and follows a character named Lucy (born in the year 2009) as she guides us through the collapse of civilization over the next century.
