Back in April, Matt Damon took a trip to Ethiopia and Rwanda on behalf of ONEXONE — an organization with a mission to help preserve a quality of life for children locally and globally. The actor, who acts has a foundation ambassador for the org, visited sites outside of Mekele, Ethiopia to see the progress of clean water projects that were created over a year ago through earlier initiatives.

A collection of videos and pictures documenting the trip — and showing just how the impact of clean water has changed these communities is now online. Needless to say, it’s an incredible transformation. It’s insights like this that make you appreciate the incredible gift most of us have of clean tap water.

Take a look at the pictures and videos from the 2009 fact finding mission here.
