Actor Matt Dillon joined other notables in late April for a benefit to help raise money for the African Rainforest Conservancy. The night also honored Dorjee Sun, the CEO of Carbon Conservation, for his work in developing a ground-breaking carbon trading plan to end forest devastation. Wow, disappointing. I saw that guy Matt is with at an event and he was a straight out liar. Made millions on allowing forests to be cut in some places and polluting to sully our air in other places.

Wow! It doesn’t take much to fool people who are desperate to show how much they care (all Matt Dillon had to do was google “carbon trading critique” and read Larry Lohman’s book or the Durban Declaration. . . A little research first maybe !???)
I mean people know about this Dorjee guy all over the place. He’s a scam arti$t.
He is a lawyer, financier, broker and is part of a propaganda operation to make Merrill Lynch and the legions of ‘green’ consultants and permit traders and polluters who have been working for a cap-and-trade system for years to allow them to continue to pollute.
Saving forests requires no longer industrially logging them. Recognizing that indigenous peoples are the rightful and more able stewards of that land also helps.
Fake conservation groups, and inside-the-beltway enviro orgs like NRDC want some of the off$et money that will poor in. (look at their Boards of Directors and funders).
Look at the range of people advocating the simple and clear alternative: a carbon tax:
