Philadelphia Phillies slugger Ryan Howard is changing the way he eats and feeling great about it!

Howard recently got the opportunity to team up with White House chef Sam Kass for an inside look at the new White House garden.

In the last few months, Ryan, who was baseball’s Rookie of the year in 2005 and then MVP the following year, dropped 20 pounds by incorporating more organic, whole foods into his diet. About the change, Howard said:  

“I mean, you eat well, you just feel so good. You have so much energy. Takes a little while to get used to make the adjustment but overtime you’re eating better.”
