George Clooney took his fuel-efficient Vespa Scarabeo around Lake Como, Italy yesterday — only to get pulled over by police. Instead of a ticket, however, the cops only wanted his autograph and a photo-op. The life of a celebrity must truly border on the surreal sometimes. Check out TMZ for more images.

That is not a Vespa, is a Scarabeo made by Aprilia. And is not fuel-efficient, is an euro 1 50 cc scooter.

Thanks for the clarification Matteo. The 50cc still is fuel-efficient, no? According to their website, it gets more than 25 miles per litre.

I think George looks great and hope he is enjoying his much needed vacation!

George looks relaxed, it is nice to see him like this. The Scarabeo seems like the right vehicle to encourage a no stress ride, keep it up George. Hope his next film will be in his home area, it seems to agree with him. Don’t forget to assist new artists and other innovative green friendly inventors.
