The fact is Japans' whale hunts are listed as UNDER SCIENTIFIC PERMIT on the IWC's website. Second, he fails to mention that the U.S., Russia and Greenland are hunting whales, too. From 1985 to 2008 America has killed 1,120 endangered Bowhead whales. Russia has killed 2,776 Gray whales, Greenland has killed 3,605 Minke whales, 308 Fin whales and 21 Humpback whales.
