Tim…you are correct, good catch. They did have dairy on their menu, so it’s technically a vegetarian restaurant.

Wait. It’s vegan? I thought they sold non-vegan items there, like dairy. Bummer about the fire, though. People that work there probably can’t just jump into another job until the place comes back online.

Very sad to hear this. I had the pleasure of eating there once, and had a tasty, humane and affordable meal that included a delicious vegan quiche.

They also have a book, “Teany book: stories, food, romance, cartoons, and, of course, tea.” My county’s library system has several copies of it. The library is a great resource for vegan cookbooks and animals rights books of all kinds.

I wish them the best of luck rebuilding and look forward to visiting them in the future.
