While it is gratifying that MJ gave monetarily, there are tax consequences that make that an attractive thing to do, not to mention the good PR that comes of charity. Lets’ not forget the money he spent paying off the family that accused him of child molestation. His obvious drug use. Plus such bizarre behavior as dangling his baby off a balcony for the media. I would think long and hard before holding this man up as an example to our children.
