Katie Holmes To Sing And Dance For Dizzy Feet Foundation
Go set those TiVo’s now!
Katie Holmes recently announced that on July 23, she will make a special appearance on So You Think You Can Dance’s 100th episode to help raise awareness for the Dizzy Feet Foundation.
The new organization was established by Holmes, Nigel Lythgoe, Carrie Ann Inaba and director/choreographer Adam Shankman and aims to support, improve and increase access to dance education.
About starting the charity, Holmes said:
“I like to sing and dance, so this has been really fun. I think it’s important to let kids experience music and dancing and singing and the arts and also sports. This is the next generation, and I think it’s important to give them every opportunity to grow and discover what it is that they like.”
Will Mary put Katie on the Hot Tamale Train? Tune in to So You Think You Can Dance on July 23rd to find out.
