What’s better than rocking out on a Thursday night? Rocking out on a Thursday night to raise money for a great cause. Duh!
Farm Sanctuary — the nation’s leading farm animal protection organization – took over Kenny’s Castaways last night in NYC for a night of music and fun.
Musical acts like Rorie Kelly, New Professionals, Jenn London, Dead Stars on Hollywood and many more all donated their time and talents for this stellar event hosted by Farm Sanctuary’s National Advocacy Organizer Jasmin Singer and New York Advocacy Organizer David Benzaquen (two of our very favorites).
Of course, Farm Sanctuary’s numero uno Pres, Gene Baur, was also on hand to say a few words. Oh yeah and did I mention the bar served soy white russians? Shut your mouth!
To learn more about all their important work, visit FarmSanctuary.org.

Other performers included Joy Askew and Neil Cavanagh.
Also, the New Professionals have changed their name to Fire Queen.
All the music was AWESOME!
Farm Sanctuary also sent me some info about an incredible piece of land right next to them for sale nestled in the forest WITH a cabin for under 100k!
