ALO-051103Disclaimer: This is only a rumor. I repeat, this is only a rumor.

News on the web is that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are in a constant struggle over what they should be feeding their six children.

Pitt, who’s an alleged vegetarian, wants his children to go meat-free while Angie thinks that red meat is an important part of a child’s diet.

A friend of the couple told the Daily Mail: “Brad hates seeing the children eating meat and he’s annoyed with how much red meat Angelina has.

“He goes on about the damage caused by methane gases from cattle and that the family should go veggie but Angie says that’s never going to happen.

For years it’s been whispered that Pitt is a vegetarian, but no real proof has ever surfaced. Got any leads? Chime in and tell us if you can find a reputable source proving Pitt’s plant-based diet.

    Brad just got even sexier.

Yes Jen – I didn’t even know he was veg (I knew Angie was NOT) so he is definitely sexier in my eyes too :)

  • just to let you know

he’s not a vegetarian. in an old interview he talked about the food they eat traveling so much and he said his favorite was Crocodile.

  • Jessi

Well he just got less sexy in my eyes if this is true. There is nothing wrong with eating sustainably raised meat. He should let them make the decision to become vegetarians when they become adults.

mr Pitt, another victim of the vegetarian community who brands him a “vegetarian” based on “wishfull thinking” and without any proof.

  • Mo

Bah, another story made up by lame tabloids to sell papers. Once day they’re getting married, the next they’re fighting over Brad going back to Jen, the next they’re having another set of twins, the next they’re fighting over what to feed the kids. If it comes out of their mouths in an interview, I’ll believe it. Otherwise, I’m sure it’s crap.

I would like to see Angelina extend her caring ways to animals as well as people, though.

  • hello?

mo, you should look up Angelina’s humanitarian work. She funds a sanctuary In namibia and her property in Cambodia is a big project for humans and Animals. LoL She has talked about being able to watch the Elephants from her house-on-stilts

    ~~is this going to post?~~

    I don’t believe it.

  • AP

Angie got sued by WildAid for reneging on her promise of aid for wildlife conservation in Cambodia (she countersued but I’m pretty sure she lost). She decided to leave animal conservation alone and just build roads in the forests for villagers. Doesn’t sound very animal friendly to me. I’m glad she doesn’t wear fur, though.

brad is sexy and i hope he is a vegetarian and i hope he can get his family to go veggie too!!!!!

  • John

To the person who said “He should let them make the decision to become vegetarians when they become adults.”

… why not instead let them make the decision to become carnivores when they are adults?

  • Freak622

He is not a veggie…here is a piece of an interview from DETAILS mag…you can look it up…He may have been veggie before…but he most certainly is not now.

***He scans the menu. “You can go to any country in the world, and you order a club sandwich, and universally it’s always a safe bet. It will not fail you,” he says, hunching over the black binder. He orders spaghetti Bolognese anyway, apologizing for sticking me with the bill despite the fact that, he admits, he has a pocketful of Czech crowns. When the food arrives, after slicing it into small pieces, he devours most of the spaghetti standing up (“I’m a father, I rarely get to sit down and eat”). Occasionally he will sit on the floor, his legs extended under a glass coffee table. Other times he will squat, bouncing on the balls of his feet. Here he is, Brad Pitt, a hungry American eating Italian food in the Czech Republic while plotting to save the world.***

AP is wrong about one thing–Jolie didn’t “leave” animal conservation, in the fallout from the WildAid stuff she set up the Maddox Jolie-Pitt Foundation, which includes “conserving wildlife” as part of its mission statement.

I don’t know what exactly became of the suit and countersuit with WildAid, but since both sides stopped talking about it I’m assuming a settlement of some sort.

Brad Pitt is NOT a Vegetarian. I repeat, Brad Pitt is NOT a Vegetarian.
He said that his favorite pizza is ‘Meat Supreme’ on Hollywood & Dine. The interview was taken about a year ago when he was on the ‘Inglorious Bastards’ promotional tour.

He’s proclaimed ”I love me some meat.” and to eating Turtle Soup on the same episode of Hollywood & Dine.

  • Ben

Brad is a smoking vegeterian, ironic

  • Lulu

    Sadly brad is not veg.
The Pitt-Jolie family are often seen eating
at mcdonalds – I’d say that’s about as un-veg as one can be.
Maybe someday they’ll educate themselves about the meat and dairy industry and their wicked ways.

Meat is tasty, so of course most children will choose to continue eating meat when they become adults. If you raise your child as a vegetarian began and explain him that this way, he will be healthier, and kind to animals, chances are bigger he will understand. he can always start eating meat as an adult.
