The actor reportedly joined a line of people waiting at a UK cancer research shop and then asked if he could make a donation. He dropped a check for about $1,600 and then walked away. This latest gift comes after Crowe bought a new car for a struggling boom mic operator during filming and also left a tip of $980 on a bill of about $393 at a Welsh pub he and some friends had dinner at. Kennedy Jr.) that raises money from successful New Yorkers and donates it to worthy causes. The 36-year-old actress was guest of honor at a Champions of Hope dinner at the Tribeca Rooftop on Wednesday. The event helped raise money for Children of the City, which helps children and their families achieve success in education, social relationships, home, financial and career.
