The actor reportedly joined a line of people waiting at a UK cancer research shop and then asked if he could make a donation. He dropped a check for about $1,600 and then walked away. This latest gift comes after Crowe bought a new car for a struggling boom mic operator during filming and also left a tip of $980 on a bill of about $393 at a Welsh pub he and some friends had dinner at. Kennedy Jr.) that raises money from successful New Yorkers and donates it to worthy causes. The 36-year-old actress was guest of honor at a Champions of Hope dinner at the Tribeca Rooftop on Wednesday.
