Prop 8 doesnt change that. It is about the meaning of a word that is sacred and the foundation of the traditional family unit. Finally in jurisdictions were marriage has been redefined to include gays, very very few gays take part in it. Less than 10% of gays in Canada, the Netherlands or Spain are married. Basically prop 8 states that marriage is to be defined as the union of one man and one woman.
