[Update: The line is now debuting on September 25th exclusively during New Zealand fashion week.]

Pamela Anderson’s new fashion line is getting ready for its public debut.

Called MUSE, the eco and animal-friendly collection of swimwear, casual wear, and shoes will make its premiere at New York Fashion Week early next month. Anderson hooked up with couturier Richie Rich
on the collection after digging his designs and the socially-responsible angle of the collection. They’ve also had a long friendship that Rich (who looks like a young “Joker” in this photo) described to NY Times Fashion saying, “A few years ago in Vegas, she had a T-shirt line, so I styled her show. She sent me to Michael’s, a craft store, in a limousine, and she was like, ‘Doll up my line!’ And I did,” Rich said. “Glitter, pom-poms, you name it.”

Rich also admitted that designing a line devoid of all animal products and eco-friendly was a real challenge. We’re glad him and Pam decided to make a run of it. Next month in New York, we’ll get to see if it pays off. Stay tuned as we get more details and images!
