“Fuel” Inspires Sold-Out Crowds Across The Country

On Saturday I had the honor of attending the NYC premiere of Fuel – a film that examines how we treat energy in America and our growing addiction to foreign oil.

In the film, director Josh Tickell travels the country in his “Veggie Van,” interviewing politicians, historians, professors and a few well-known celebrity activists about subjects ranging from biofuels to wind power and solar.

Hailed by film festivals across the world, including a Best Documentary Audience Award at Sundance, this movie should be an absolute must-see on everyone’s list.

After the screening I was part of a panel to discuss green issues and got a first hand look at how passionate movie-goers felt about this film. In fact, one audience member declared that Fuel was the best movie he had ever seen. Wow!

    We’ve been told all our lives that it’s ‘normal’ to pollute the environment in order to have a good, comfortable life.

    We’ve been told all our lives that it’s ‘normal’ for the human race to be at war all the time.

    We’ve been told all our lives that it’s ‘normal’ that a few have so much and many have so little.

    We’ve been told all our lives that it’s ‘normal’ to eat animals and that in order to be healthy we have to do that.

    We’ve been told all our lives that it’s ‘normal’ that most diseases don’t have a cure and that we can only treat the symptoms…

    And I could go on…

    Well, guess what?

    That’s all a bunch of lies we’ve been told all our lives.

    We’ve been so well manipulated, brainwashed and controlled by the Illuminati/Governments/Secret Societies/Powers to Be/etc.,etc.,etc., that we stopped questioning their actions a long time ago.

    This film is just one more proof (among so many) that we can have a great life without polluting, that we don’t need to eat animals to be healthy, that we have the technology to produce clean, cheap, renewable energy, that diseases can be cured, that war is not innate to humans, that there is enough money to go around for everyone and not only for big corporations, that terrorism is a creation of those people mentioned previously… and above all, that we are free spirits, we are creators and we have this huge potential that was taken away from us in order for ‘them’ to be able to control us!

    And you know what? We can change all that is wrong in this planet ‘just’ by opening our eyes and wake up once and for all!!

    This may sound a little bit crazy and ‘out there’ but the fact is that I’ve been ‘stumbling’ upon a lot of information that actually made me wonder about many things and question everything I’ve been told all my life.

    Isn’t it weird all this fuss about the swine flu, which by the way has such a low mortality rate (compared to other types of flu)?
    Isn’t it interesting that this flu ‘appeared’ out of nothing in a poor and overpopulated country like Mexico?
    And why was WHO so eager to raise the pandemic level?
    And why all the interest in this flu by the media all over the world?
    And why such a worldwide massive vaccination plan?
    Humm…

    It’s up to each and everyone of us to believe in what they chose but I think these are too many coincidences to be just… coincidences.
