Twitter Thursday: Neogreene Notebook Sleeves From GreenSmart!

We strive every Twitter Thursday to introduce something different from previous weeks, and this time ’round we’re happy to be hooking up with GreenSmart on their innovative line of eco-friendly notebook sleeves.
I know, I know — notebook sleeves aren’t exactly sexy, but they do come in handy for protecting your valuable bits and bytes while traveling. GreenSmart has created a sleeve that has all the qualities of neoprene, but without the nasty chemicals. From their website,
GreenSmart has abandoned the chloroprene chemistry of neoprene entirely and developed a material with all the attributes without the hazards, We call it neogreene. It is water based chemistry that allows for water based adhesives that still provides the squishy and smooth material with a little bit of stretch. Specific to all neoprene, neogreene uses 25% less electricity and 25% less petroleum to produce? And the stink? With neogreene, that is gone for good.
And here’s a bit about the sleeves themselves: “This sleeve has a specially designed gusset and mesh interior to breath for your laptop. Ever think about putting your hot laptop in an insulated sleeve? Now your laptop will cool down that much faster. My laptop deserves an eco-friendly sleeve because, it’s totally awesome! I splurged on an Alienware laptop, and there’s nothing that would set it off more than one GreenSmart’s sleeves!

Those sleeves are THE awesome. I need to protect my poor laptop from damage as I’m always dropping my bag on the floor. I missed the twitter contest for the fourth week in a row by ten minutes. *sigh* You guys giveaway such good stuff.
I would love to have a Neogreene Notebook Sleeve for my laptop to keep it safe and cozy because the chilly weather is on it’s way and it wont fit in one of my sweaters, and blankets just seem to slide write off! My laptop needs something pretty to wear for the holidays also, and I want my laptop to know that it is loved!

My laptop deserves an eco-friendly sleeve because it always practices green living – the backlight lessens if it is not used for 20 seconds, and it always shuts itself off if it is not being used. Plus it has a long battery life, so less time being plugged into the wall. The sleeve would protect it in the eco-friendly way that it deserves!
My laptop deserves an eco friendly sleeve because it is old and out-of-date, and a cool sleeve will make it feel more fashionable.
Oh I haven’t replied to the last few giveaways but I cannot miss trying on this one. I so want and need an eco sleeve. I’m a geek and have more laptops than I know what to do with and no covers!

I just started a job where I have to run around town (and around the USA) with my laptop and having an eco friendly sleeve to help protect it would be LOVELY! (and waterproof outside- wowsa! Nice not to have to worry about my water bottle tipping over while I’m traveling.) Thanks for the opportunity! -Liz
Our notebook needs all the TLC it can get, which in this house…well…sometimes TLC is hard to come by!
My beloved laptop is a recycled, hand-me-down, older model that still serves me well wherever I go. Although the screen hinge has been replaced so it doesn’t flop back anymore, the F9 key is missing, and the case shows some wear, it helps me send people on the most amazing trips of a lifetime. We’re starting to promote “green travel”, so what better way than to “travel green” ourselves with a Neogreene sleeve!
My laptop deserves to have a new laptop sleeve because it gets awfully cold at night and needs something to warm it up. =) Also, it’s has the energy star on it and I’m sure it would love to go even greener with a Neogreene sleeve!
